HandStands Reaches Half Million Dollar Milestone
with Operation Smile

HandStands, a Bluffdale Utah based manufacturer of car air fresheners has donated over $500,000 to Operation Smile helping over 2083 children from around the world to lead more happy and productive lives.
On April 13th, HandStands President Alan Wheatley was recognized by Utah Governor Gary Herbert for the company’s contributions to Operation Smile. Since beginning its affiliation with Operation Smile over 20 years ago, the company has donated more than $500,000 to Operation Smile’s Utah chapter. During the chapter’s annual Breakfast for smiles event, the company was also recognized for its leadership in securing other contributions for the charity as well as serving in local leadership roles.
“We are very proud of the fact, that we have been able to change the lives of over 2083 children by providing them with a natural smile. So many of these children are out casts in their own society simply because of a cleft lip. Operation smile changes lives, by providing smiles, helping these children to go on to lead, happy and productive lives”. Said Wheatley.
“ A cleft lip is something we can fix and it costs so little. We are very proud to support such a fantastic organization.” Continued Wheatley.
