The ideal candidate MUST LOVE to write and will most likely be an active member in the blogosphere and other online communities or otherwise be able to demonstrate that they are a prolific writer. This candidate will have experience with a content management system (CMS) or blogging software such as Wordpress as well as have experience writing copy based on keyword research. Must be customer friendly and be able to answer both incoming calls and online questions for customers about our products, services, pricing and all customer related issues. Requirements
At least 2 years of social media/marketing experience, customer service experience and Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Communications, or Advertising. Would consider a student that is actively working on their degree depends on the writing samples.
Strong organizational skills and writing skills required. Samples must be submitted for consideration for this position.
Specialized knowledge of various social media technologies, platforms, applications, etc. and how they can be customized and deployed to meet various business objectives.
Ability to effectively communicate information, ideas, and plans in written/verbal/digital format as well as the interpersonal skills necessary to build, maintain, and grow relationships. Experience writing for SEO-based initiatives is extremely desirable.
Ability to multitask and quickly adapt to hard project deadlines that may dramatically change in scope based on "real time" developments.
