Can I return my order?
Yes, you can return an order. Please refer to our return policy for additional information.
I didn't get an e-mail confirmation or a shipment notification. Did you get my order?
If you completed the order process and were issued an order number, then an e-mail confirmation is sent to you automatically after your purchase. Occasionally these arrive in spam or junk mailboxes. Please be sure to check to see if it arrived there. Otherwise, please call us at 1-800-228-8987 to confirm that we received your order, or to get the tracking number for your order.
Why have you charged me multiple times?
What appear to be duplicate charges are usually authorizations. At the time you make your purchase online, an authorization is placed on your credit card for the full amount of the sale. This reserves the funds for your purchase, but does not charge the card. You are charged when your product ships. The preliminary authorization is made even if the charge follows almost immediately, and in some systems, both will appear.
Often, when checking your online statement or with your credit card issuer, it is difficult to distinguish between authorizations, which are holds against your available credit, and actual charges.
Note: Authorizations disappear in a few days to a few weeks, according to the policy of the card-issuing bank. For information on the length of this period, contact your credit card company directly. HandStands has no control over this hold period.
Is your website and my personal information secure?
Yes, HandStands.com features industrial strength 256-bit SSL (secure-socket layer) encryption for all secure areas of our website. Access to personal information, such as credit card numbers, is also limited to only key personnel. Please click on some of our certifications at the bottom of this page for more information on the security validation that our website continues to undergo.
Where do your products ships from?
We ship most product from our warehouse in Bluffdale, Utah 84065. We do have other partner warehouses throughout the United States that we use to help fulfill orders during busy seasons.
Which company do you use to ship orders?
Our primary shipper is Fedex, but we do also use UPS and the United States Postal Service for certain orders. Which company is used is determined based upon the shipping method you choose during checkout unless the order is over $75. For free shipping orders, this us determined by our shipping department, and is based upon the products ordered and your physical location.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Mastercard, Visa, Discover, and American Express through our checkout process.
I purchased a product from you, and it doesn't work properly.
Please contact us regarding the issue, and we'll see what we can do to address the problem. Occasionally some products can be fixed with simple materials, versus being returned or replaced.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, international shipping is available by conveniently clicking on the International Checkout button available on any product page.
When Can I Expect My Order?
Our warehouse is located in Bluffdale, Utah 84065, and ground shipments to most locations within the continental United States are within 5 business days. The longest an order should take, assuming there are no delays due to weather or other circumstances, should be 7 business days (including order processing time). If this is unacceptable, please select a faster shipping method. We offer 2-Day Air and Overnight service to most areas.

How do I qualify for free shipping?
Simply order $75 or more of merchandise to qualify, and the promotion will automatically be applied to your order. Note that this offer is only valid on orders placed using standard delivery to anywhere in the continental United States. Sorry, orders shipping to Alaksa, Hawaii, APO/FPO, or Puerto Rico currently do not qualify.
Do you ship to APO/FPO or PO boxes?
Yes, due to customer requests, we're proud to be able to now offer shipments to APO, FPO, and PO box addresses through the United States Postal Service.
Who is responsible for return freight if I decide to return my order?
Return freight is the customer's responsibility unless the reason for return is due to our error. Please refer to our return policy for more information.

Air Fresheners

How many types of air fresheners does HandStands provide?
HandStands manufactures and supplies air fresheners in various forms. Some - like the Bug - are gel like, others like the Glow Plug air fresheners can be plugged into the car's DC socket.
How many fragrances are the air fresheners available in?
Depending on the type, our air fresheners come in various shapes and scents. Please visit the individual page to check the availability of a particular fragrance.
How can I buy your air fresheners?
You can always purchase our automotive air fresheners directly from HandStands.com. If you're looking for them locally, please call us at 1-800-228-8987 on where you may be able to find them in your area.
It's been really cold lately, and my air freshener doesn't seem to be working?
Air fresheners are designed for ambient conditions with temperatures between 50oC - 85oC F. Outside of this range, the air freshener will either cease to function or will release scent at an immense rate.

Mouse Mats

What is a mouse pad (or mouse mat?)
A mouse pad / mouse mat is an object that facilitates smoother movement of a computer mouse.
When did people start using mouse pads?
It is generally assumed that mouse pads were used since 1984.
How many types of mouse pads are there?
There are three types of mouse mats textured mouse pads for improving the tracking of a normal mouse, shiny mouse pads for optical mice and ergonomic mouse pads (with wrist rests) to give relief from repetitive stress disorder.
How many types of mouse pads does HandStands supplies?
HandStands supplies all the above kinds of mouse pads. In addition, we also manufacture National Geographic mouse pads and customized mouse mats.
Are the mouse pads from HandStands ergonomically designed?
Some of our mouse mats are specifically designed to reduce wrist fatigue. These include the ERGO-MAT Mouse Mat®. For more information, please see the ERGO-MAT Mouse Mat® FAQs.
How do I take care of my mouse pad?
Never soak or put the mouse pad in a dryer. Cleaning our mouse pads is every easy. All you really need to do is take a damp cloth and just wipe the surface clean. Always let the mouse mat air dry.

CYBER GEL®
Is the gel used in Cyber Gel® products toxic?
None of the gel in any products sold by HandStands® is known to be toxic. The gel used in our mouse mats, wrist-rests, and balls is the same gel used by companies like 3M.
MEMORY FOAM
Is Memory Foam safe to eat?
Although we do not recommend eating any of our products, none are toxic or harmful. Ingesting some of the materials may induce vomiting. We recommend that our products be kept out of reach of small children (under age 5) and also from pets.
ERGO-MAT™
How do I properly use the Ergo Mat™?
Please follow the instructions on the back of the Ergo-mat™ package. Experts who study ergonomics will tell you that the best working position for mousing and keyboarding is to keep your wrists naturally straight. The unique design of the Ergo-Mat™ allows you to do this as long as your mouse pad, chair, and body are at the proper height. We recommend that you find the most comfortable and natural position for your Ergo-Mat™ by trying a few different positions. Try using the mat with the thick end under your palm or sloping away from your body. Also, try to keep your wrist, hand, and arm straight for best results.

What is a DESIGNER IMAGE Mouse Mat?
DESIGNER IMAGE Mouse Mats® are an innovative product from HandStands. You can customize these mouse pads with color photographs or illustrations of your choice.
Which graphics format do you support?
For our Designer Mouse mats, we require the files (photos / illustrations) to be sent in Corel Draw, Photoshop or Illustrator format. In general, please remember that we need an image with at least 300 ppi resolution to print properly.

Automotive Accessories

If I remove a sticky pad, will it leave behind any marks?
The Original Sticky Pad® is compatible with soft vinyl surfaces. UV Rays may cause your dashboard to naturally fade of discolor over time. We recommend moving the pad weekly. Avoid use on surfaces that have a lacquered finish or on cars with hard or painted plastic dashes such as Subaru Forester or Toyota Sienna.
How do you clean the iSticky Pad, Jelly Sticky Pad®, or Sticky Pad®?
Clean the product, as needed, with soap and water to renew its "grip." We also recommend trying to clean with glass cleaner if you are not satisfied after cleaning with soap and water. Be sure to also let the product air dry.
Which automobiles are compatible with the Sticky Pad®?
This pad is compatible with soft vinyl surfaces. Avoid use on surfaces that have a lacquered finish (i.e. wood and some leather). Also avoid use on cars with hard or painted plastic dashes such as Subaru Forester and Impreza, Toyota Corolla , Tundra, and Sienna, Acura MDX, Infiniti, and Chevy Prizm. If you are unsure if the Sticky Pad will work with you car, we recommend using a Jelly Sticky Pad or iSticky Pad, as they are compatible with all vehicles.
Can the Glow Plug stay in my car while my car is off without draining my battery?
This is totally dependent on which type of car you own. Some cars do not allow the 12v connection to provide power when the car is off. Since the only portion of the Glow Plug that will drain your battery is the small LED light, you can expect the Glow Plug to not be a major factor in any battery drain while your car is off. It is, however, recommended that you remove the Glow Plug if you will not be using your car for a significant length of time.

Computer Accessories

I purchased your Laptop Desk, but the instructions were a little confusing in step one. It tells me to use part M.
Unfortunately, when our instructions were printed, the wrong part was indicated. Please use part N in Step 1 where it instructs you to use part M. Please also note that in Step 4, you should also use part Q in between part E and J.
When I assembled the desk, I ended up with about a 1 inch gap between the two tables. Your picture doesn't show this gap. What's wrong?
Part 6 (or part G on some instructions) needs to be facing the inside leg of the desk versus the outside. This small difference is what causes the gap. Simply reversing this part will eliminate the gap.

Where can I find the Mac software for your MX 1.5" Digital Photo Keychain?
Unfortunately, not all of the keychains shipped included the Mac software preloaded. Simply download the Mac software here, and you should be able to load photos using OS X 10.4 and above.
Is the Ovo 3.5" Digital Photo Frame compatible with Mac OS X?
Yes! Beginning in February 2009, our latest revision of this product is compatible with Mac OS X. Simply download the software here.

Duravú Bullet Proof Shields
How do I properly install a "Bullet-Proof" Shield?
Occasionally dust or lint can find its way onto the adhesive side of the shield, especially during installation. To avoid this problem, we recommend peeling the sticker slightly, then lining up the shield with the top portion of the iPod. Slowly begin to peel the sticker, and apply the shield to the face of the iPod. This will ensure no dust or lint finds its way in between the shield and the iPod. Afterwards, use a micro-fiber cloth to push out any remaining air bubbles.
iGadget Grips
Does this accessory work only for the iPod?
No. The iGadget Grip is perfect for holding your cell phone too!
Do any of your products contain natural rubber or latex?
None of HandStands' current products contain any natural rubber, and all products are completely latex free.
Does the iSnug 2-Pack Set fit the 60 GB Video iPod?
Yes! The iSnug has been updated to work with Apple's 30 and 60 GB Video iPods. Please note that some iSnugs may require a slight modification to allow for the new location of the headphone jack. This is easily accomplished by doing the following:
  • Remove the EVA foam insert.
  • Make a small mark on the foam where the headphone jack is located.
  • Use a utility knife to cut about a 5/8" wide slit in the foam. Do not cut completely through the bottom of the foam.
  • Remove the foam piece, and place it in the old headphone gap.
  • Place the foam insert back into your iSnug case.
  • Congratulations! Your iSnug is now compatible with the Video iPo
Please note that in the future shipping iSnugs will contain two cutouts, allowing compatibility with all full-sized iPods regardless of the location of the headphone jack.

Fitness and Fun

MORF™ BALL
WARNING
The Morf TM Ball is designed to remain at or near room temperature (30-80 degrees Fahrenheit). Do NOT leave ball in direct sunlight or near a heat source (such as in a parked car).
Exposure to heat for a prolonged period may cause the ball to leak the inner gravy which may become dangerously hot.
Is the Morf™ Ball toxic?
The Morf™ Ball is non-toxic. The liquid substance (or gravy) within the Morf™ ball is mostly distilled water. If a significant amount of the gravy is ingested it may cause vomiting and a temporary minor irritation.
Can the Morf™ Ball burst?
With normal use and play, the Morf™ ball will not burst. The Morf™ Ball has been tested to withstand up to 40 pounds of pressure over 24 hours. However, it can be punctured, or popped with the intention to do so. It is not intended or recommended for use by children under age 12 and/or animals. In the event one does burst or leak, discard it immediately. Note that although the coloring inside is a food-grade dye, it can stain some fabrics and carpets if not cleaned-up immediately.
How do you clean a carpeted area if the Morf TM bursts or leaks?
  • Scrape off excess on top of surface with a table knife or spatula.
  • Sprinkle stained area with table salt until completely covered.
  • Let sit for about 10 minutes.
  • Scrape off saturated salt with a table knife or spatula.
  • Repeat salt application, saturation, and scraping until no more dye is absorbed into salt.
  • Soak stain with club soda or water and blot remaining stain.
  • Repeat water application and blotting until no more dye is blotted up.
  • Clean with a mixture of dish soap and water until the stain is completely removed.
  • Blot dry and let dry overnight, then vacuum.
Washing instructions:
If a MORF™ ball leaks its gravy-like contents onto clothing rest assured that since the coloring comes from food-grade dye, it will wash out completely in one or two trips to the washing machine. Use a spot remover like "Spray n Wash " if the area has dried or hardened. Try to wash it out as soon as possible. Red-colored gravy may take multiple wash cycles.
How do I get your product from those pesky plastic clam shell packages?
The rigid plastic clam shell protects the product, but may be difficult at times to open. Try cutting along the seam or across the end of the packaging with heavy duty scissors.
My hands have been stained by a bursted Morf Ball, so do I need to be concerned with it not coming out of my clothing or carpet?
The Morf Ball does initially stain your hands due to the food-grade dye, but will eventually come off with soap and water. Clothes and carpet are easily cleaned. We recommend cleaning up stains as soon as possible on carpet or clothing. The longer you leave it, the more difficult it will be to remove the stain. Please refer to the question regarding washing and cleanup instructions.

CD DVD Media Storage

Do you still have the peg screw version of the CD/DVD Library available?
Unfortunately, that model has been discontinued. Due to popular demand, we have reintroduced our CD/DVD Storage Binders with the 3-ring system. This allows you to purchase extra insert sheets to expand your CD/DVD collection without having to purchase a new binder.
How many extra insert pages will the CD/DVD Binder hold?
The CD/DVD Binder, depending on what you are using your binder for, can comfortably hold up to 64 CDs or DVDs.
Can I get more binder index tabs? I've used all of them.
