What To Do With Old Mouse Pads

Old mouse pads sometimes become a problem. What do you do with them after they've been used to death? Throw them away? In addition to the HandStands Ugly Mouse Pad contest, there really aren't too many options left for that old and worn mouse pad.

What happens if you could bring that mouse pad to life again? It may not be able to resume its previous role as a mouse pad, but it certainly can be useful.

Have you ever considered using the bottom of the mouse pad for opening bottles and jars? The rubber that many mouse pads are made of are perfect for providing the extra grip needed to wrench open those pesky jars. They provide just enough grip, so give it a try!

You could always just purchase a cheap fabric mouse pad for that purpose. You could try using the mouse pads for coasters too, although they may not be as well suited to that use after being ripped and torn to death.
